Margate, New Jersey
Margate, New Jersey is perched at the end of the long spit of land that forms the northern edge of the Great Egg Harbor Inlet. Almost 9,000 people make

more bustle than Cape May. Margate City is home to Lucy the Elephant, a zoomorphic structure shaped like a pachyderm. Lucy is over 124 years old, the
oldest surviving structure of its kind in the United States.
